Suzuki Wagon R Stingray J Style launched - Japan

Suzuki has launched a J Style version of the Wagon R Stingray hatchback in Japan. The special edition includes gold decorative design both on the inside and the outside. Prices start at 1,517,400 Yen (INR 8 lakhs) for the front-wheel drive version and go up to 1,635,120 Yen (INR 8.62 lakhs) for the all-wheel drive (4WD) variant.
On the outside, the body gets 15-inch alloys, bumper-mounted LED lights, mirror mounted indicators (also LED), and golden coloured bits like body decals, rear view mirrors, and door handles. The grille up front and chrome applique on the tailgate are now golden as well.
On the inside, the black interior is complemented by gold designs embroidered on the seats and the floor mats. There's gold accents for the steering wheel, door trim, instrument console (meters), and the dashboard. The Wagon R J Style also gets heated seats.

Powering the vehicle is a 660 cc, three-cylinder petrol engine that makes 50 hp and 63 Nm of maximum torque. It comes mated to a CVT transmission, which sends power to the front wheels (2WD) or all wheels (4WD) depending on the variant. Exterior paint choices include four colours: Crystal White Pearl, Bluish Black Pearl, Mysterious Violet Pearl, and Pheonix Red Pearl.
