Rendering - When Tata Motors decide to refresh the Manza
Some of the future products are completely new ones, while others will be refreshed versions of the existing carlines.
One such refreshed product we are looking forward to is the Indigo Manza facelift. Unlike the Vista, the Manza did not get a look change when it passed its third anniversary.
The current Manza is regarded as a better buy in the segment, especially after the launch of Club Class variant which received new features and a rich interior upholstery. Customers in that segment were tempted by its spacious and somewhat luxurious interior, Multi-jet power and the big boot, but there is room for improvement on the exterior.
Whether or not Tata launches a re-skinned Manza, our in-house rendering expert Shoeb will, and has!
The Tata Manza facelift can impersonate the Manza Hybrid concept shown at the Delhi Auto Expo last year. The changes are reserved to the front and rear, and the section between the A and C pillar remains the same.
Predicting some of the changes, the leaf shaped twin barrel headlamps make way for a much sleeker horizontal setup, joined by a very stylish looking grill surrounded with chrome inserts.
The front bumper housing the vents and fog lamps could get themselves a chrome treatment. The rear fascia is also revamped with a new set of tail lamps and if LED technology is used here, it would make it a segment first.
The boot would get a bit curvaceous, unlike the current boxy one. The other change on the exterior of the car would be a new set of alloy rims.
Tata Motors have not discussed refreshing the Manza and test mules have not been spotted out yet. However the concept car that was presented at the Delhi Auto Expo should influence the production model's design at some point. We believe if it rubbed off on the current model, the Manza could become a complete product.
