Toyota Calya mini MPV launched at GIIAS

PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) has launched the Toyota Calya mini MPV at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Motor Show today. It is available in five variants: Calya 1.2 E Std MT, Calya 1.2 E MT, Calya 1.2 E AT, Calya 1.2 G MT and Calya 1.2 G AT, and prices range between Rp. 129,650,000 - Rp. 150,000,000 (INR 6.6 lakhs to INR 7.64 lakhs).
Positioned below the Toyota Avanza, the Calya measures 4,070 mm in length, 1,655 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. It slots in the LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) category in Indonesia, which also comprises of the Datsun Go+ Panca.
The only engine option available is a 3NR-VE 1.2-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder petrol engine tuned to produce 88 PS (86.76 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 108 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. ABS will be a standard fitment in all variants except the Calya E 5MT.

Standard features include power windows for all doors, roof-mounted second-row HVAC vents, one-touch tumble second-row 60:40 split-folding seats, dual-front airbags, 2-speaker double-DIN multimedia system with CD, USB and AUX input and parking (reverse) sensors.
