Triumph Bobber U.K prices revealed, India launch in 2017 - Report
Triumph Bobber is a modern day embodiment of an American classic with minimalist bodywork.
Triumph unveiled their latest member of the Bonneville family, the Triumph Bobber, in October 2016. This was after they showcased the relatively accessible cafe racer Triumph Street Cup. The British bike manufacturer has now unveiled the Bobber's prices for the U.K market, which starts from GBP 10,500.
Based on the Bonneville T120, the Triumph Bobber has a clean design. With minimal bodywork, the bike gets a wide handlebar, single seat and a rounded headlamp. The bike also gets a new tubular steel cradle frame and a KYB suspension in the rear.
The Triumph Bobber is shod with a 19 inch wheel up front (100 section) and a 16 inch in the rear (150 section). The powertrain is the same 1,200 cc High Torque engine which has been retuned for the Bobber. The torque and power availability in the low rev range has been increased. The floating seat gets first in segment adjustability, allowing movement both forward and backwards. The peashooter exhaust is a new unit.
The fuel tank is a small 9.1 litre unit. The liquid cooled engine is also coupled with ride by wire system, two riding modes (rain and rain), switchable traction control, torque assist clutch and an engine immobiliser.
ET Auto reports that Triumph India will introduce the Triumph Bobber in the country in February 2017. Triumph India recently completed 3 years in India and launched the Triumph Bonneville T100 back in October.
