TVS Apache RR 310S handles Chennai's narrow lanes [Video]

The TVS Apache RR 310S borrows the exhaust canister from the BMW G310R.

The TVS Apache RR 310S has been spotted by YouTube user Brillian Mad revealing the upcoming motorcycle in close quarters, tackling the narrow roads of Chennai.

The TVS Apache RR 310S gets Michelin Pilot Street tyres.

The Michelin Pilot Street tyres, as spotted on test units so far, offer ideal amounts of grip on standard riding surfaces and also have a decent life. This tyre option could be standard in the TVS Apache RR 310S. First showcased as the TVS Akula 310 concept, the bike has undergone the transition to production form without moving far from the concept.

The powertrain will redline at around 9,000 rpm and is expected to have an output lower than 34 hp produced by the 313 cc BMW G310R. The TVS Apache RR 310S gets premium upside down fork up front and a monoshock in the rear. The tall handlebar and the footpeg position indicate a comfortable seating posture.

Disc brakes will be standard at both ends, and ABS is expected as an option. The all-digital vertically mounted instrumentation gets a shift light as well as a gear position indicator. The front brake gets a radially mounted caliper.

Previewed by the TVS Akula 310 racing concept, the Apache 310 is the first fruits of the TVS-BMW collaboration.
