Upcoming Polarity electric smart bikes teased ahead of India launch
Pune-based electric two-wheeler brand, Polarity has released the second teaser of its upcoming products. The company also confirmed through its Instagram post that it will introduce six road-legal pedal-assisted (Executive and Sports Series) electric scooters on 20 September.

The new teaser video reveals various premium features of the upcoming product. The lighting, for example, will be full LED (headlight, tail lamp and blinkers). The sleek LED blinker are reminiscent of KTM motorcycles and give a proper premium look to the upcoming electric bikes. The spherical headlight features a round ring that looks appealing.
Then there is the shock absorption setup that comprises inverted forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock at the back. The anchoring department comprises disc brakes on both wheels. The vehicles ride on wire-spoke wheels with a knobby set of tyres. Given their compact looks, they should be fun around the trails.
The instrument console on the upcoming e-bikes is a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Other smart features include GPS tracking and syncing with health and fitness apps. The switchgear isn’t fully visible, there could be a pass switch on the e-bike. You would need that pass switch more often than you would imagine as the top speed of the vehicle is rated at 100 km/h. The total range is yet to be revealed, although the pedal system will ensure that you can at least ride the motorcycle to the nearest charging point instead of pushing it.
It will be an interesting product that will come handy for short commutes. There will be a rider-only seat setup. Looking at the premium hardware in the teaser video, it would be safe to assume that the Polarity e-bikes will arrive with a premium price tag. We will be attending the launch event on 20 September to bring you all the latest updates of the Polarity products.
