In terms of styling, both scooters carry retro looks. However, while the Primavera gets a round headlight, the Sprint uses a rectangular unit. The Primavera also gets a chrome garnish on the front fender, while the Sprint misses the styling feature. Moreover, the alloy wheel design is different on both models too. The body panels, on the other hand, look identical on both the scooters. Chrome trimmings across various parts such as headlight mask, front apron borders, mirror housing and the exhaust heat shield enhance the retro looks of the Vespa scooters.
The Primavera is available in five paint options – Bianco Innocenza, Nero Vulcano, Rosso Passione, Blu Energia, and Verde Relax. The Sprint can be purchased in four choices - Bianco Innocenza, Nero Vulcano, Rosso Passione, Giallo Estate.
While the scooters carry a lower displacement and a limited top speed, they still benefit from premium features such as front disc brake to perform the anchoring tasks. A 3.2 HP 49 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine is linked to a CVT. The claimed fuel economy stands at 34.4 km/l, which translates into a 275 km range with the 8-litre tank.
The vehicles do not require a separate two-wheeler license in select regions of the US, and it can be used by regular driving license holders in 16 states. The list of states includes (in alphabetical order):
