The Yamaha SZ was introduced in 2010 as a commuter 150 cc motorcycle.

A Bangalore-based motorcycle customiser has modified a Yamaha SZ as an adventure tourer. The bike gets all-new body parts except for the fuel tank.

The Yamaha SZ adventure tourer by Motocraft retains the original fuel tank and gets a headlamp console sourced from an Eicher truck.

The bike gets a blue paint scheme with white outlining in typical Yamaha fashion. The original fixed rider footrests of the Yamaha SZ were chopped and stays were welded to make way for aluminium footpegs. The stock battery holder has been trimmed and the regulator & rectifier unit has been moved under the seat, ensuring proper electrical grounding.

The air intake of the Yamaha SZ has been retained while the headlight console has been sourced from an Eicher truck. The bulb though is in the original specification. A protective grille has also been used. A high-low mudguard has been used while the stock handlebar has been replaced by a high rise one. The fuel tank lid has been polished to a brushed steel finish and the bike also gets a new toe gear shifter and knuckle guards.

Taking six months to build, the Yamaha SZ adventure tourer gets Ceat Secura sport tyre up front (3.00 - 17) and Ralco Blaster in the rear (100/90-17). An aluminium underseat tray hugs the sub-frame preventing mud splashing onto the electricals and seat lock. The bike also gets a luggage rack which has been welded to the stock grab rail.
