Chevrolet may have taken the wraps of the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado last week in LA, but the most luxurious trim of the 2014 Silverado Range called the Chevrolet Silverado High Country is a fitting swan song for the retreating model.

To set it apart from the rest of the range, the High Country version features:
- Body-colored front/rear bumpers
- Bespoke chrome grille with horizontal chrome bars
- Chrome body side mouldings mirrors and door handles
- 20-inch chrome alloys with 275/55 R20 all-terrain season tires
On the inside, the High Country carries a western theme with an exclusive saddle-brown color. It features perforated leather with High Country logos embedded in the front headrests. It also has an eight-inch touch-screen with Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment setup. The audio responsibilities are handled by Bose-branded gear.

The Silverado High Country can be purchased with a 5.3-liter V8 EcoTec3 engine, and you can also opt for the larger 6.2-liter V8 EcoTec3.
Both power units benefit from active fuel management, cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing.
The High Country trim line starts at $45,100 (28.18 lakh rupees) for the 5.3-liter V8 and $54,565 (34.10 lakh rupees) for the 6.2-liter V8.
