Ahead of its showroom launch in November, an undisguised interior of the Lada Vesta has been snapped in what appears to be the car's production facility in Izhevsk, Eastern Russia, where the sedan's trial production is underway.

The image reveals an interior design similar to the Lada Vesta concept. It features a modern interior characterized by a 3-spoke steering wheel, a music player with Bluetooth connectivity housed in the center console, a manual transmission, and a conventional mechanical hand brake. Higher variants will get dual front airbags, heated front seats, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, automatic headlights, automatic wipers and ABS as optional equipment, say reports.

The Lada Vesta debuts a new design philosophy, with the signature 'X’ motif on the front bumper and side body panels. It measures 4,410 mm long, 1,764 mm wide and 1,497 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,635 mm, and is based on the ‘Lada B’ platform developed by AvtoVAZ and Renault-Nissan, previous reports said.

Under the hood, it is likely to be equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol available as an 8-valve engine making 87 bhp, and a 16-valve equipped unit with 106 bhp of power. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while an AMT option would be available for the 16-valve variant. A more-powerful 1.6-liter 16-valve unit sourced from Renault-Nissan delivering 114 bhp through a 5-speed manual transmission is also reportedly frozen for AvtoVAZ's next launch.
