Expected to debut later this year.
The Mercedes GLA was revealed in August 2013 and had its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show (2013 IAA). Three years hence, with the other MFA platform-based models (Mercedes A-Class, Mercedes CLA and Mercedes B-Class) having received their mid-facelift, it's now time for the GLA's lifecycle change.
In the latest, a spy video of the 2017 Mercedes GLA (facelift) has been published by YouTube channel walkoArt.
The spy video doesn't reveal the changes to be brought to the A-Class based crossover, but it does seem as if its an updated lights and bumpers affair.
Inside, not much is expected to change visually, save for upholstery and trim choices. The 8-inch infotainment system is something already available in the GLA, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration compatibility.

The Mercedes GLA is expected to keep its four-cylinder engines (1.5-litre diesel, 1.6-litre petrol, 2.0-litre petrol and 2.1-litre diesel), albeit with minor power or efficiency revisions. The transmission choices should continue being 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Base petrol and diesel models will likely continue having front-wheel drive drivetrain layout, while the 4MATIC four-wheel drive system will be available in upper models.
Expect the facelift to be revealed this year and reach Indian shores next year.
