Expected to have its public debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
Just days after the interior leaked, the second generation 2017 Porsche Panamera's exterior has leaked, courtesy BurlappCar. The all-new model's exterior image seems to have surfaced on one of Porsche's own websites before the vehicle's unveiling event. The 2017 Porsche Panamera may have its public debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The design, unsurprisingly, is evolutionary. The new generation model retains its low-slung, coupe-esque design in every possible way to make it instantly recognizable as the Panamera. Up front, there are reshaped headlights with updated four-point LED daytime running lights, a sharper and edgier bumper and a two-bar grille and air inlets.
The rear-end isn't visible at all, but the taillamp designs on the quarter panel suggest a design inspired by the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept.

The next-gen Porsche Panamera will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MSB (Modularer Standardantrieb-Baukasten) front-engine, rear-wheel drive platform. It will be around 90 kg lighter than the first generation Porsche Panamera and be offered with turbocharged V6 and V8 petrol and diesel engines, as well as a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Various configurations will be available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive drivetrain layout, varying based on markets.
The 2017 Porsche Panamera should be launched in Europe towards the end of the year, followed by North America in H1 2016.
