2017 Yamaha V-Ixion R is priced IDR 800,000 less than the Yamaha Xabre.
Yamaha Indonesia has announced the pricing of the 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion R. Priced at IDR 29,500,000 the Yamaha V-Ixion R is IDR 3.6 million dearer than the standard V-Ixion. In comparison, the 2017 Yamaha R15 v3.0 is priced at IDR 34,500,000.
The 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion R is powered by the new 155.1 cc VVA mill borrowed from the Yamaha R15 v3.0. The liquid cooled engine is capable of producing 19.31 PS of power and 14.7 Nm of torque. Coupled to the fuel injected powerplant is a 6-speed gearbox instead of a 5-speed unit seen in the standard V-Ixion.
The Yamaha V-Ixion R tips the scales at 131 kg and has an 11-litre fuel tank. The digital instrumentation also gains a gear shift light while the exhaust canister is shorter. Other changes include a wider 130/70 rear tyre and an under-seat USB charger. Also available is a slipper clutch which is standard across the range.

Yamaha Indonesia has not fitted the 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion R with ABS but gives it a disc brake at both ends. The bike has a ground clearance of 165 mm and a seat height of 795 mm.
The Yamaha V-Ixion R will be available in three colours, Matte Red-Black, Blue-Silver and Green-White. The bike though will not be heading to the Indian market which has four Yamaha 150 cc motorcycles on offer, the Yamaha R15, Yamaha FZ v2.0, Yamaha Fazer and Yamaha SZ-RR v2.0.
