With the recent launch of the 2018 Bajaj Discover 110, the Pune-based motorcycle manufacturer is back in the 110 cc commuter segment. One of the bike's primary rivals is the TVS Victor 110.

The 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 retains the characteristic Discover styling, but has a few modern additions. The bike now comes with ‘Inverted Horns’ LED DRL integrated into the headlamp unit. The side panels and the tail section receive minor tweaks to make it modern. TVS claims the Victor 110 is the first bike in the segment to feature DRL. The motorcycle also features hazard lamps, whereas the Discover makes do with standard switchgear.

Though the 2018 Bajaj Discover comes with a larger engine, it makes 1 PS less power than the TVS Victor. However, it offers marginally superior torque output at 1,000 revs lower than the Victor. The claimed mileage of the Victor is 4.3 km less, but enjoys the advantage of being 6 kg lighter (drum variant) than the Discover.

The Victor also has superior braking capability, thanks to the optional 240 mm front petal disc. Both the bikes feature analogue-digital instrument cluster, but the Victor features Power-Economy mode indicators. The Discover on the other hand, has a cost advantage over the Victor. It matters as the 110 cc segment is highly cost-competitive. Even the base variant of the TVS Victor is INR 3,119 more expensive than the 2018 Bajaj Discover 110.
