The 2018 KTM 200 Duke has been showcased sporting a side-mounted exhaust, at Indonesia International Motor Show 2018 (IIMS), reports BikeAdvice.
However, as the per the brochure, the model with the side-mounted end can appears to have the catalytic converter under its belly, apart from the usual place inside the bulbous exhaust can. The customers were reportedly allowed to take test rides and see if there any changes. Other than the exhaust, the mechanicals and the design elements are the same as the existing 200 Duke.

The specs of the Indonesian 200 Duke are the same as the Indian-spec version. However, the Indian version is 4.5 kg heavier, presumably because of the sturdier alloys in the Indian version. The 199.5 cc single cylinder mill with liquid cooling makes 19 kW of power, and pairs with a 6-speed transmission. The website reports that the exhaust is taken from the 250 Duke, and it may offer an improvement in torque delivery and aural note.
