The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander’s pre-bookings opened in India last month. A new report from Autocar India says that customers will start getting its delivery in mid-June.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is available in India in only one configuration. Mitsubishi does offer its 4N14 2.2L diesel engine (150 PS/380 Nm) in the SUV internationally, but not here. The Indian-spec version gets the 2.4L MIVEC petrol engine that produces 167 PS at 6,000 rpm and 222 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. A CVT and an AWD system are standard. Internationally, the Mitsubishi Outlander is available in 5- and 7-seat versions. Our market gets only the 7-seat version.
LED headlamps with LED DRL, LED front fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED rear combination lamps, electric sunroof and Shark fin antenna are the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander’s key exterior features.
Inside, the mid-size SUV has dual-zone automatic climate control, electric parking brake, genuine leather upholstery in black colour, power adjustable driver’s seat, heated (first-row) front passenger seat, 6.1-inch central display and Rockford sound system with four speakers, two tweeters, one woofer and a 710-watt amplifier. 7 airbags, Active Stability Control (ASC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA) are the main safety features.
