2018 Perodua Myvi cross variant - Rendering
The 2018 Perodua Myvi has been rendered as a crossover by Bear Design. The images shared by Paultan visualize the recently launched hatchback with crossover/SUV design bits in case Perodua decides to launch such a variant in the future.
The illustration seems to draw inspiration from the Renault Captur as evidenced by the dual tone colour schemes and the two-tone alloy wheel design. The air intake placed towards the lower part of the bumper is surrounded by black cladding. A silver finish is added to the lower lip. Black protective cladding also adorns the wheel arches and the door sill. Aside from the chrome embellishments on the fog lamp enclosures, the render adds chrome to the door sill as well.
The hatchback measures 3,895 mm long, 1,735 mm wide, and 1,515 mm tall. It rides on a 2,500 mm wheelbase. The boot can hold 277 L of luggage with the rear seat up and 832 L with the seats down.
There are two engine options on offer. A 70 kW 1.3 L 1NR-VE, 4 cylinder Dual VVT-i petrol mated to a manual or automatic gearbox and a 76 kW 1.5 L 2NR-VE 4 cylinder Dual VVT-i petrol available only with an automatic transmission.
