Perodua is showcasing the 2018 Perodua Myvi for the first time in Malaysia. Paultan has published live images of the car from the venue where the company has partially unveiled the car in a box.
Perodua is giving a glimpse of only the front and rear fascias of 2018 Perodua Myvi for now. The third-gen Myvi is the first Perodua to feature a completely in-house designed upper body, and it is not just a rebadged Daihatsu Boon. At the front, the new chrome grille is flanked by LED headlamps, which are standard. At the rear, the car has LED tail lamps with light guides and a dual-tone roof spoiler. The license plate has moved from the tailgate to the bumper now.
The 2018 Perodua Myvi is available with 1.3- and 1.5-litre petrol engines. The 1.3L engine is from the Perodua Bezza, in which it produces 70 kW (95.17 PS) and 121 Nm of torque. The 1.5L engine develops 105 PS and 136 Nm of torque in the Toyota Avanza and 107 PS and 140 Nm of torque in the Toyota Vios. 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic are the transmission choices.
