The 2019 Toyota Corolla Touring Sports made its public debut at the Paris Motor Show this month. The aesthetics of the station wagon are a work of the company's recently opened Design Centre in Zaventem, Belgium.
The front-end of the 2019 Toyota Corolla Touring Sports mirrors the hatchback sibling that has been on sale in several global markets. The highlights of the side profile include a rising shoulder line and flared wheel arches. The rear section is characterised by a sloping roofline and a steeply raked rear windshield, which give the new model a shooting brake-like appearance.
Yet another talking point of the rear-end is the set of full-LED tail lights. The new model will launch in four dual-tone colour schemes along with an entire range of standard paint shades.
Like the exterior, the interior of the 2019 Toyota Corolla Touring Sports mimics the passenger compartment of the hatchback sibling to a great extent. That said, the new model offers a more spacious interior setup owing to a substantial increase (60 mm) in the wheelbase. As per the manufacturer, it will offer best-in-class rear legroom. The boot space has been rated at 598-litres with the seats in place.
The cabin is equipped with a range of premium comfort- and convenience-enhancing features, including a 3-D Driver's meter, Head-Up Display, JBL GreenEdge Premium Sound System, wireless mobile phone charging and Toyota Touch Multimedia System.

The 2019 Toyota Corolla Touring Sports will be available in three engine variants - 1 petrol and 2 petrol-electric hybrid powertrains. The petrol-only model employs a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit that outputs a maximum power of 115 hp. The two petrol-electric hybrid powerplants include a 123 hp 1.8-litre unit and a new 2.0-litre unit with a maximum power of 180 hp. The new model is underpinned by the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) GA-C platform.
