In spite of commencing production of the 4C baby sportscar, Alfa Romeo is not likely launch it before the end of this year.
However you needn't wait till the launch to know everything about it as Autoedizione.com presents us with the leaked brochure revealing the 4C's specifications.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is powered by a 1,742cc four-cylinder petrol engine which pumps out 241PS and 350 Nm of torque. Transmitting the power is a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
Thanks to a carbon fibre monocoque chassis, the car weighs just 895 kg making it faster than its power output suggests. 0-100kph comes is 4.5 seconds while the two-seater manages a top speed of 258kph. The car has a combined fuel consumption of 14.7kpl.
In terms of personalization, customers can choose from six exterior color options and from four options each of alloy wheel designs, brake caliper colors and seat colors.
Only 3,500 cars will be built out of which 1,200 are earmarked for the US, 1,500 for Europe and the remaining (800) units for the rest of the world.
The Italian sportscar would carry an estimated price tag of of 60,000 euros (around Rs. 53.83 lakhs).
