Alpina has shown the new B4 BiTurbo coupe at the Tokyo Motor Show. The B4 BiTurbo Coupe is based on the BMW 4 Series coupe.
A twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 410 bhp and 600 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, does the duty on the B4 Alpina. The package allows the B4 to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.2 seconds and has a top-speed of 305 kmph. As far as stopping power is concerned, the B4 Alpina comes fitted with 370 mm discs at the front and 345 mm discs at the rear.
Interior changes are limited but include Lavalina leather upholstery, special floor mats and some Alpina badging. The model sports a stainless steel exhaust system and wears 20-inch Alpina Classic wheels with Michelin pilot super-sport tyres. It gets a sports-tuned suspension unit. It is expected that an all-wheel drive will soon come to certain countries. The Alpina B4 BiTurbo Coupe will go on sale in May 2014.
