The Bajaj Boxer X150 has been spied testing in India, near Pune. Unlike the previous test mule, this motorcycle comes with camouflage.

Bajaj has designed the motorcycle for rural markets.

The Bajaj Boxer X150 is popular in African markets for its utilitarian build. The bike features a raised front mudguard, telescopic front fork with gaiters, flyscreen and knobby Mud-grip tyres for better off-road capability. While it is unlikely that Bajaj will launch this motorcycle in India; it could be possible that the company is testing specific components under Indian test conditions. Bajaj teamed up with Modenas and recently launched the Boxer X150 in Malaysia.

The Bajaj Boxer X150 employs a 144.8cc single cylinder engine with a 4-speed transmission. It generates 12 PS at 7,500 rpm and 12.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. At the rear, the bike employs SNS suspension. The alloy wheels are 17-inch units. For anchorage, the Boxer X150 uses 130 mm drum brakes on both ends.

The wide and long single-piece seat offers optimum comfort.

The bike features electric start, and the fuel tank capacity stands at 11 litres. The motorcycle weighs 122 kg, kerb, and comes with a luggage rack behind the single piece seat as well. The Boxer is also India’s most exported two-wheeler. Currently, there are no 150cc off-roaders in the Indian market. However, Hero plans to offer a 200cc off-roader in the Indian market in late 2018.
