Set to be introduced in collaboration with Malaysian two-wheeler maker Modenas, the Bajaj V15 could be the third motorcycle, the other two confirmed as the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS and Bajaj Pulsar RS200. This also means that the Bajaj Dominar 400 may be launched at a later date in Malaysia.
The Bajaj V15’s key selling point in India is the use of metal from the INS Vikrant in the fuel tank. While that may have helped Bajaj Auto garner a healthy sales volume and the differentiating factor in India, it will be interesting to see what the marketing is in Malaysia.

The bike is powered by a 149.5 cc single cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC DTS-i mill. The engine is capable of producing 12 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 12.7 Nm of peak torque 5,500 rpm. The bike is suspended over 33 mm telescopic fork up front and twin shocks in the rear. The pillion seat can be covered with a cowl giving the image of a café racer to the Bajaj V15.
Brakes include a drum unit in the rear and a 240 mm disc in the front. A smaller capacity Bajaj V12 is also on offer with a 125 cc mill which might not be introduced in Malaysia.
The Bajaj V15 in India carries a price tag of INR 63,001 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
