The handlebar is easy to reach and the riding position is upright.

Pictures taken by YouTuber CarReisen shows the camouflaged bike porting a saree guard. The motorcycle was launched in the Malaysian market in October. CentroStile Benelli from Italy has designed the motorcycle. It features a scrambler-esque design language, tempered with modern mechanicals. The lighting system is all-LED, and the instrument cluster is a digital unit. The single piece seat complements the upright riding position.

The neo-retro scrambler draws power from a 499.6cc in-line two cylinder DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. It is capable of developing 47.5 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 45 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The Euro 4 engine pairs with a 6-speed transmission. Benelli has derived the powerplant from the TRK 502.

The motorcycle sports dual-exit exhaust.

The cycle parts of the Benelli Leoncino include 50 mm upside down front forks; and a preload and rebound-adjustable rear monoshock. For anchorage, the Leoncino employs dual 320 mm discs at the front, with 4-piston radial callipers. The rear comes with a single 260 mm disc with a single piston calliper. Both brakes have ABS as standard. The 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels are shod with 120-section at the front and 160-section at the rear.

It was reported that Benelli would launch the Leoncino this month. However there is no official work as of now. Expect more details about the bike’s launch in the coming months. The Leoncino would be the cheapest scrambler offering when launched in India, undercutting the Triumph Street Scrambler and the Ducati Scrambler.
