DSK-Benelli has announced the launch of a Benelli TNT 600i (LE) variant on 24 September, 2015. IndianAutosBlog.com learns that the Limited Edition, as with other special editions, would introduce a new body shade with graphics.
The standard 600i is available in three colours: Rosso, Bianco and Nero, i.e., Red, White and Black. The middle-weight motorcycle is currently priced at INR 5.29 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). The special edition is likely to be priced above the standard variants.
The TNT 600i is one of the most popular models in the DSK-Benelli lineup. The company currently sells five bikes ranging from 300 to 1131 cc, including TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130R.
The 600i features a liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder 600 cc engine with DOHC, that produces 85 PS (62.57 KW) at 11,500 rpm and 54.6 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm. It is teamed up with a 6-speed gearbox. The 231 kg motorcycle is suspended by inverted telescopic forks and a monoshock at the rear. The tyres are Pirelli Angel GT, of size 120/70-ZR17 upfront and 180/55-ZR17 at the rear.
