BMW India has just launched the M5 at 95.9 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) at the Auto Expo which can now be ordered as a CBU (completely built up unit) at BMW dealerships across the country. The fifth generation of the world’s most successful high-performance sedan is powered by a 4.4 litre V8 engine with M TwinPower technology producing maximum output of 560 hp.
The new BMW M5 sprints from 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and breaks the 200 kmph barrier in 13 seconds with a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
BMW also showcased the Vision ConnectedDrive concept that showcases driver assistance and networked driving technologies.
The MINI range will be available through 3 dealerships (2 in Delhi and 1 in Mumbai) initially. All cars are equipped with 6-speed automatic transmissions and petrol engines.
