Expected to launch in the first half of June 2015.
BMW Indonesia decided to preview the second generation BMW X6 at the BMW Golf Cup International 2015 held at Royale Golf Club, East Jakarta, ahead of its expected launch in the first half of June.
The BMW X6 comes in three engine variants: 306-hp 3.0-liter petrol-powered xDrive 35i, 306 hp 3.0-liter diesel-powered xDrive 40d, and the xDrive 50i with a 407 hp 4.4 liter V8 petrol. However, the Indonesian market will only get the 306-hp xDrive 35i petrol variant at launch, which is paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. It does the 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.7 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of 240 km/h.
The new BMW X6 features Adaptive LED headlights, Comfort Access (including hands-free tailgate opening and closing), Navigation System Professional with Touch Controller, Bang & Olufsen high-end surround-sound system, new Rear Entertainment System Professional, BMW Head-Up Display, Driving Assistant Plus with Traffic Jam Assistant, the BMW Parking Assistant, Surround View and BMW Night Vision with Dynamic Light Spot and Speed Limit Info, as well as all BMW ConnectedDrive services and Online Entertainment.

For the Indian market, BMW sort of confirmed that its next launch is the all new X6. Unlike the Indonesian spec model, BMW India may only be selling the 306-hp xDrive 40d variant as well as the powerful BMW X6 M. It is expected to be launched in the coming weeks, and will be brought into India via the CBU route.
