CFMoto will commence its India operations along with its local partner AMW Motorcycles tomorrow. Four CFMoto models will be launched on the first day in our market.

CFMoto had initially planned to enter India on 4 July but it had to postpone due to heavy rains and flooding in the financial capital. The company later confirmed a new launch venue and date. The Chinese brand will commence its business in the Indian market with the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and the 650GT. The delivery timeline is yet to be announced.
The 300NK and the 650NK will compete in the naked roadster segment of the Indian market, while the 650MT and the 650GT will lock horns with middleweight tourers in our country. The list of the direct threat to the upcoming CFMoto bikes include:
- 300NK: KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R and Honda CB300R
- 650NK: Kawasaki Z650
- 650MT: Kawasaki Versys 650, Suzuki V-Storm 650
- 650GT: Kawasaki Ninja 650
CFMoto may price the motorcycles close to or lower than the rivals to gain the attention of prospective buyers in the Indian market. Check out the prices of the rival products in the table below:

CFMoto, along with its India partner, AMW Motorcycles targets to push 10,000 motorcycles annually in our market. The motorcycles that would be launched tomorrow would arrive with BS-IV certified engines, while the BS-VI compliant models will arrive by the end of this year or early next year. The company then plans to upgrade its portfolio with the launch of 300SR, 400NK and 400GT that would arrive by mid-2020.
A 700 cc twin-cylinder CFMoto was leaked via design sketches recently. This will be the biggest displacement product from the Chinese brand, and it should also arrive in the Indian market in the distant future.
To give you a recap about the products that would be launched in India tomorrow, the 300NK uses a 292.4 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected engine that delivers 34 PS at 7,200 rpm and 20.5 Nm at 8,800 rpm. The 300NK also packs two riding modes – rain and sport – making it the first bike in its segment (in India) with this feature.

The 650NK draws 61.54 PS peak power at 9,000 rpm and 56 Nm of torque at 7,000 engine revs from its 649.3 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, DOHC motor. The 650MT and the 650GT also use the 649.3 cc parallel twin-cylinder motor, although the power and torque output numbers in them are different. The 650MT's unit churns out 70.7 PS of power at 8,750 rpm and 62 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, while the 650GT's unit makes 61.2 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 58.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
