GM won't launch a 3-door Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback.
The second generation 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback was revealed this month and X-Tomi Design has created a rendering of a 3-door variant. The Chevrolet Cruze 3-door will remain in the digital realm, as GM appear to have no plans to spin-off a Cruze with less than 4 doors.
As for the 5-door 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback, it will be available with only with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine good for 153 hp and 177 lb.-ft. (240 Nm) of torque in USA and Canada. Transmission choices are likely to be 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.

While the second-gen Cruze sedan is built at GM’s Lordstown, Ohio assembly plant in USA, the second-gen Cruze Hatchback will be built at GM’s Ramos Arizpe assembly plant in Mexico.
