Chevrolet Trailblazer Premier (facelift) vs older model - Old vs New
Gets a thoroughly revised exterior and interior.
GM unveiled a near-production Chevrolet Trailblazer Premier concept at the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show, which previews the design changes in store for the full-size SUV later this year. Here's a pictorial comparison between the facelifted Trailblazer and the current model.
Exterior:
All of the exterior changes are concentrated up front, which gets a face nearly similar to the Chevrolet Colorado sold in the U.S. It features sleeker headlamps with bold LED DRLs, wider grille and a new bumper design with round, larger foglamps.
Meanwhile, rest of the exterior is identical to the current Trailblazer. The production-spec model could get new alloy wheel designs and a chrome accent on the running board
Interior:
Inside, the next Trailblazer adopts an all new dashboard design that ditches the waterfall approach in the current model for a new floating design that can be contrasted with a bright color, as seen in the image above.
Chevrolet hasn't confirmed the features for the next Trailblazer, but what we can tell from the images is that it will come equipped with an 8 inch MyLink infotainment display with support for Apple CarPlay, more chrome embellishments across the cabin, and a slightly updated instrument cluster.
Engine Lineup:
Since the Chevrolet Premier is a near-production concept, GM Thailand have not confirmed the engine lineup for the facelifted Trailblazer.
It’s likely to retain the current Trailblazer's engine lineup, which includes a 2.5-litre Duramax diesel engine that produces 120 kW (163 hp) and 380 Nm of torque, the 2.8-litre Duramax diesel engine that produces 147 kW (200 hp) and 500 Nm of torque and a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine (Middle Eastern markets) that produces 277 hp and 357 Nm of torque.
