The second generation Dacia Logan MCV was officially launched in Romania last evening at a function in Bucharest. It is available for order at Dacia dealers from today with a base price of 7,790 euros (5.60 lakhs rupees) VAT included.
The world premiere of the Logan MCV was held in Geneva in March and to strengthen the car maker's B Segment lineup which also lists the updated Sandero, Sandero Stepway and the Logan.
Central to the launch of the Logan MCV is the boot volume, which measures 573 liters. It is equipped with a 1.2 16V 75hp engine, a 0.9 TCe turbo petrol 90 hp engine and a 1.5 dCi diesel engine in two power outputs - 75 and 90 hp. Dacia offers a LPG option on the 1.2 16V 75 bhp motor as well.
The MCV can be chosen in Access, Ambiance or Lauréate trim levels with prices going up to 14,550 euros (10.47 lakh rupees). The Logan MCV like its sisters, is made at the Pitesti plant (Romania).
