Shares platforms with the Jeep Renegade.

Through its latest TVC for the Fiat 500X, the Italian automaker has mocked its infamous fake acronym "Fix It Again, Tony" which has earned it in the past for being notoriously unreliable. The compact crossover's commercial also takes a dig at mid-size sedans, Honda Civic in this case, for not offering features like AWD, more horsepower, leather seats, etc.

A Honda Civic owner goes to "Tony's Fix It Shop" to fix the broken wing mirror of his Honda Civic where the mechanics criticize the sedan for lacking certain amenities all of which are offered by the new 500X. In the end, Fiat says that it has fixed the sedan with the 500X, announcing clearly that the product vies to phase out the sedans.

The Fiat 500X looks to eat up the market share of popular mid-size sedans.

The 500X which premiered at the 2014 Paris Motor Show shares its platform with the Jeep Renegade and is made alongside its American cousin at Fiat's Melfi plant in Italy.
