Could gain new Uconnect infotainment system.
The current third generation Fiat Panda was introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and is due to receive a mid-life facelift. With the official unveiling set to take place later this year, Fiat has started constructing engineering mules, as seen in the car's first spyshots published by Facebook user Gabetz SpyUnit.
The test mule seen in the spyshots is almost completely covered in camouflage and doesn't reveal any exterior changes. However, the facelift should be a minor affair and bring a few styling changes on the outside. Even with the facelift, we don't expect the company's cheapest model to be offered with LED headlights and LED tail lights.
The interior of the 2016 Fiat Panda could be refreshed with fresh upholstery, new steering wheel, new instrument cluster and different dashboard trim. More importantly, the facelift may introduce the Uconnect infotainment system (with 5-inch display) to the Panda.

The engine and transmission choices should remain unchanged. The current Fiat Panda is offered in five configurations (68hp 1.2L petrol+5MT, 94hp 1.3L diesel+5MT, 84 hp 0.9L petrol+5AT, 68hp 1.2L LPG+5 MT and 84 hp 0.9L+5MT). In some markets the Panda is offered with optional AWD paired to a 0.9L petrol or the 1.3L diesel.
