Reported to premiere at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
As March nears, the Fiat Tipo hatchback (name unconfirmed) is getting closer to make its first public appearance. Just ahead of its expected 2016 Geneva Motor Show debut, two test mules were spied in Europe, courtesy of alVolante.it.
The Bravo replacement is simply a 5-door version of the Fiat Tipo saloon/Fiat Egea saloon that was introduced last year. An estate version will also be there in the Tipo range and it's already under development, as seen in these spyshots captured in Brazil. A 3-door hatchback version isn't expected to be launched though.
The Fiat Tipo hatchback will likely be available with the same engines and transmission choices and features as the Fiat Tipo saloon/Fiat Egea saloon. So, the engine choices should be 95 hp 1.4 16v Fire and 110 hp 1.6 1.6v E.torQ petrol, and 95 hp 1.3 MultiJet II and 120 hp 1.6 MultiJet II diesel.
Similarly, transmission choices should be 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. Noteworthy interior features should include Fiat Uconnect infotainment system with 5-inch colour touchscreen display, steering-mounted controls and automatic climate control.
