Display cars will begin arriving next week.
Dealers of Ford India will start accepting bookings for the Ford Figo Aspire from July 27, 2015. The booking amount is INR 30,000, while the market launch of the compact sedan is expected to take place early next month. Dealers also inform us that display cars will begin arriving next week.
The Figo Aspire will be available with three engine options. Starting the range is a 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol which develops 88 PS and 112 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel engine is a 1.5-liter TDCi generating 100 PS and 215 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission as well. A 6-speed Powershift DCT will be exclusively available on a 1.5-liter Ti-VCT petrol which outputs 112 PS and 136 Nm of torque.
The ARAI-rated fuel efficiency figures for these engines stand at 18.16 km/l for the 1.2L, 17 km/l for the 1.5L AT and 25.83 km/l for the 1.5L diesel. The Figo Aspire will come in variants of Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+.

All variants will feature dual front airbags as standard, whereas the top-end variant will offer a first-in-class 6 airbags (side and curtain airbags in addition to dual front).
