Through its distributor GO Automobiles, Ford is showcasing the Ford Aspire (Ford Figo Aspire) at the NADA Auto Show 2017. Here are the Aspire's images from the Nepali motor show.
The sedan measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,525 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,491 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 174 mm and a boot space of 359 mm. The engine options are the same as in India - 1.2L Ti-VCT petrol, 1.5L Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5L TDCi diesel.
The 1.2L petrol engine produces 88 PS and 112 Nm of torque. The 1.5L petrol engine develops 112 PS and 136 Nm of torque. The 1.5L diesel engine delivers 100 PS and 215 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard.
The Nepali-spec Ford Aspire comes in Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium grades. Key features include keyless entry, two-tone interior colour scheme, adjustable rear seat headrests, automatic climate control, steering wheel mounted audio controls, side and curtain airbags (in addition to dual-front airbags), ESP, TCS and HLA.
The Ford Aspire's prices start at NPR 26,90,000 (INR 16,81,258.88) and go up to NPR 38,90,000 (INR 24,31,262.84).
