Capital Harley-Davidson, the Delhi outlet of the American cruiser brand, is offering an INR 1 lakh discount on the ex-showroom price of the Street 750. The new ex-showroom price, under the offer, stands at INR 4.33 lakh* (vs INR 5.33 lakh*). The offer is a dealership-level discount, and thus it may not be available at other outlets in the country.

The dealership stated in its Instagram post:
Harley Davidson completes 10 years in India!! Buy street 750 at a never before price @4.33 lacs* : T&C applied.
The discounted price could also be targeted to boost the sales, which tumbled due to a global recall this year. The sales of the Street 750 and Street Rod dropped to zero units in February as Harley-Davidson stopped the deliveries of the Street series models to rectify the issue. Another reason behind the discounted price could be to clear the inventory of the BS-IV compliant Street 750 before the updated model arrives. The launch details of the Euro-V/BS-VI compliant Street 750 are still not available.
The Street 750 is the most affordable Harley-Davidson in the Indian market. The motorcycle draws power from a Revolution X 749 cc, V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes 59 Nm of max torque at 3,750 rpm. The peak power figures are usually undisclosed by American cruiser brands.
In more news, Harley-Davidson India extended its line-up with the launch of the Forty-Eight Special and Street Glide Special at INR 10.98 lakh* and INR 30.53 lakh* respectively. The company is also working on a new product in the 250-500 cc segment that will be targeted at developing markets, including India. The new entry-level model will arrive next year. The company hasn’t revealed many details about the upcoming motorcycle, but we expect to see a 250 cc cruiser with the “Street” badge. Expect the new motorcycle to arrive in the sub-INR 3 lakh* price bracket.

The upcoming entry-level Harley-Davidson will be manufactured in partnership with a local brand. The American cruiser manufacturer is yet to name a partner. Do note that Suzuki Motorcycle India plans to extend its line-up with a quarter-litre Intruder while Bajaj may also introduce a 250 cc Avenger bike next year.
