Honda has launched the CB150R Streetster in Thailand at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2019. The motorcycle has been priced at 99,800 baht or approximately INR 2.16 lakh in the country. The Streetster is a visually upgraded version of the standard bike, the CB150R ExMotion.

The Streetster badge brings unique graphics to the motorcycle that gives it a sporty look. The CB150R features the Japanese brand’s Neo Sports Café theme. Thus, the fascia includes a full LED headlight in a spherical shape. The blinker and the tail light are LED too. The instrument console is similar to the unit that displays ride related information on the CB300R and features a shift light.
The dual-tone fuel tank features a unique design. The Honda branding is placed under a cavity. The top of the tank gets a matte black panel that surrounds the fuel filler cap. Tank shrouds, which also act as radiator surrounds, further enhance the muscular look of the fuel tank. A split-style saddle follows the fuel tank. The graphic stripe makes it look even more desirable. The rear panel gets a 150 badge that is placed inside a dual-tone circle.
Sides reveal an underbelly exhaust system that gives the CB150R Sportster a clean look while an engine cowl and red callipers add a sporty persona to the overall package.
The Honda CB150R Streetster would be sold in three colour options in the Thailand market - black and white, red and black, and black.
Unlike the fully-faired CBR150R, the CB150R comes with 41 mm upside-down front fork that gives it a big bike persona. The rear features a monoshock unit. Stopping power comes from 296 mm front and a 220 mm rear disc. The safety net of dual-channel to ABS is complemented by G Sensor to prevent the back wheel lifting in case of heavy braking and avoid accidental stoppies.
Engine specifications include a 149cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine with fuel injection. The powerplant comes mated with a 6-speed transmission.

Honda 2Wheelers India has no plans to introduce the Streetster version of the CB150R although it wouldn’t be incorrect to expect the standard CB150R ExMotion to arrive in the country to compete against the likes of Yamaha MT-15 and the KTM 125 Duke.
