The 'Livo' name has been confirmed through spyshots.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced a launch for July 10, 2015. The manufacturer has revealed no details in its invite, and only says - Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is all set to unleash it’s Brand New Product.
The product in question is expected to be Honda's all-new commuter motorcycle, which will be called the Honda Livo. Details on the Honda Livo at the moment are purely speculation, however, the Livo is expected to replace the CB Twister in the market.
The Livo is also expected to borrow its engine from the CB Twister which gets a 109.19 cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit capable of 9 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.97 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, paired to a 4-speed transmission. However, this unit could be tuned for better fuel efficiency on the Livo.
In spyshots, the Livo has shown a rather basic instrument cluster composed of two hexagonal dials, one for the speedometer and one for the fuel tank. An analogue odometer is seen within the speedo cluster.
