Is a rehashed Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The Isuzu MU-X SUV which was launched last week in the nation is in attendance at the CAMPI 2014 (Philippines International Motor Show 2014).
Based on the Chevrolet Trailblazer and pitted as a replacement for the MU-7, the MU-X is essentially the passenger carrying version of the current gen D-Max (older D-Max is on sale in India), which in turn is based on the Chevrolet Colorado pickup.
The exterior highlights of the SUV are a chrome grille, flared wheel arches, 16-inch alloy wheels and a wraparound rear windshield.
The interior of the top-end variant gets silver accented steering wheel, 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat, 6-speaker touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and navigation, roof-mounted 10-inch DVD monitor, climate control, split and fold second and third row seats, 12 cup holders and 19 cubby holes.
Under the hood lies a 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel motor which delivers 136 PS (134.13 bhp) and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is available with either a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission, both of which are available in 4x2 and 4x4 variants.
Safety equipments include dual airbags, Traction Control System and Electronic Stability Control.
