KTM Duke 250, KTM RC 250 launched in Indonesia - IAB Report

Jakarta PT KTM Motor Indonesia (KTM Indonesia) has launched the KTM Duke 250 and the KTM RC 250 at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2015). The show goes on till August 30.
The Duke 250 (naked version) has been launched at IDR 69.5 million (INR 3.31 lakh), while the fully faired RC 250 retails for IDR 74.5 million (INR 3.55 lakh); these are on-the-road prices. There is also a special discount of around INR 30,000 for those who book their KTMs at the show.
Kristianto Goenadi, President and Director of KTM Indonesia, who launched the bikes, said that there would be a national racing championship on the KTM RC 250 in 2016.
The KTM 250 siblings source power from the a 250cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 30.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm with the peak torque of 24 Nm arriving at 7,250 rpm. The job of relaying power to the wheel is taken care of by a 6-speed transmission.
KTM has not announced if the 250 series will launch in India.
