Verito EV and Maxximo EV could also be shipped.
Dr. Pawan Goenka, the Executive Director of Mahindra & Mahindra, earlier revealed that the company is working on a four-door variant of the Mahindra e2o (electric vehicle) which will only be exported to the European markets.
Economic Times has now reported that Mahindra Reva will be launching its products in Europe next year. Jagan Kurian, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles, has told ET when asked about ramping up production for exports, that the company is not consuming anything closer to the currently available capacity of 30,000 units per year at the Bengaluru plant, and hence capacity would not be an issue in the coming years.
Given that the electric versions of the Mahindra Verito and the Mahindra Maxximo will be launched in India by February 2016, there is a possibility of these vehicles being considered for exports. The report does not mention these vehicles. There is a better chance of the Mahindra Maxximo EV being exported to Europe than the Verito EV.
