The 8-seater is powered by lithium-ion batteries which need 8 hours for a full charge.

The Maxximo electric gets its power from a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) capable of producing 20 hp and 62 Nm of torque. A transaxle gearbox with two forward speeds does the transmission duty on the zero emissions people carrier.

The 8-seater is powered by lithium-ion batteries, and can hit a top-speed of 65 km/h with a range of 100 km on a full charge. Mahindra says it takes 8 hours to fully charge the batteries. The Maxximo electric has a gross vehicle weight of 2,165 kg, and a gradability of 18 percent.

Other noteworthy features include disc brakes at the front and drum brakes with regenerative braking at the rear. However, the Maxximo electric gets only a manual rack-and-pinion steering unit.
