The reported price is approximately INR 4,000 more than the price of the XT300 variant of the Mojo family. Regular readers would know that Mahindra offered the Mojo in two variants – UT300 and XT300. Both the variants have been removed. The new Mojo will be available in a single variant – 300 ABS. The XT300 variant packed features such as LED DRL, upside-down telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided exhausts. The 300 ABS, on the other hand, misses the LED DRL, uses conventional telescopic front forks and has a single-sided exhaust – all the features that were seen on the budget UT300 variant.

The reason for the premium price tag is the addition of a dual-channel ABS. To keep up with the spec sheet of the rival products, Mahindra added the safety net of dual-channel ABS instead of the budget, single-channel unit.

The bike has reached select dealerships already, and a leaked document has revealed the performance numbers along with a few other details. In terms of mechanical specifications, the upcoming Mojo 300 ABS will draw 19.34 kW (26.30 PS) of maximum power from its single-cylinder, 294.72 cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine with fuel-injection technology. The output sits between that of the XT300 and the UT300's engines that were tuned for 20 kW (27.19 PS) and 17 kW (23.11 PS) respectively.

Anchoring department comprises disc brakes that, as mentioned above, are governed by the safety net of dual-channel ABS. In terms of features, the Mojo 300 ABS will continue to pack the muscular styling along with twin-pod headlight, a semi-digital instrument console and a monoshock suspension at the back.

The Mojo 300 ABS was seen with Pirelli sourced tyres at the dealership. However, Mahindra will most likely offer rubber from MRF and offer the motorcycle at a marginally lower price tag.
