The current generation C-Class Coupe has finally made it to India, after its mid-cycle refresh. It’s available in only the C 43 4MATIC variant made by Mercedes-AMG, for a price of INR 75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe measures 4,693 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,402 mm in height. It has a 2,840 mm wheelbase. Under the hood, there’s a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that churns out 390 PS at 6,100 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 2,500-5,000 rpm. The AMG Speedshift TCT 9G 9-speed automatic transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system are standard.
The 2-door coupe in this configuration accelerates from nought to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. It can go further to 250 km/h, which is its electronically limited top speed. It is equipped with AMG Ride Control steel suspension with electronically controlled adaptive adjustable damping system. The driver can select from three different sets of damping characteristics, namely "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport+", using a switch on the centre console.
On the outside, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe features a powerfully sculpted front apron with side air curtains flaunting black flics, AMG radiator grille with twin louvre in matt iridium silver, sporty side skirts, 18- or 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, rear apron with faux air outlets and an expressive looking diffuser and double round twin tailpipes. Inside, it has ARTICO artificial leather/DINAMICA microfibre upholstery in black with red contrasting topstitching and with “AMG” badge in the backrests of the Sports front seats and AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe is available in Polar White, Obsidian Black, Graphite Grey, Brilliant Blue, Mojave Silver, designo Diamond White Bright (optional), designo Hyacinth Red Metallic (optional) and designo Selenite Grey Magno (optional) colours. It is manufactured at the Bremen plant in Germany and imported via the CBU route.
