India-bound MG Motor displays the MG3 at BIMS 2017

MG Motor displayed the MG3 at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show that opened last month. The MG3 is the smallest model in the company's line-up.
The MG3 was launched in Thailand in March 2015 in two versions 5-door hatchback and 5-door Xross. The sub-compact hatchback is available in four trim levels for the regular version and one trim level for the crossover-styled version.
The MG3 hatchback measures 4,018 mm in length, 1,728 mm in width and 1,517 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. The Xross version is slightly bigger, measuring 4,079 mm in length, 1,739 mm in width and 1,528 mm in height. The hatchback version has a ground clearance of 158 mm, while the Xross version has a ground clearance of 168 mm. Under the hood is a 1.5-litre VTi-TECH four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 78 kW (106 PS) at 6,000 rpm and 135 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, paired to the 5-speed SeleMatic automatic transmission.
