Only SUV in Suzuki Singapore's current range.
Suzuki Singapore has confirmed that the new Suzuki Vitara will make its local debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2016 held between January 14 - 16. The company will accept pre-orders for the Vitara during the motor show.
The Vitara sold in international markets comes with two engine options: a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol making 120 hp and 156 Nm of torque, and a 1.6-liter diesel engine with 120 hp and 320 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic is offered for the petrol option and a 6-speed manual for the diesel.
Few of the headline features in the new Vitara include exterior-colour-coordinated trims, a centre console finished in black, a 7-inch infotainment display with touchscreen, a clock between the central AC vents, and a familiar steering wheel design.

The new Vitara was spotted on Indian soil in November, generating rumors of its introduction at the Auto Expo 2016. There is no definitive confirmation from Maruti Suzuki on the launch of the Suzuki Vitara, but given the soaring demand for compact, locally manufactured, SUVs in the market, it would be surprising if Maruti gave the segment a miss.
