Renault has launched a new variant of the Renault Clio in Malaysia, which slots just under the Renault Clio R.S. 200. Called the Renault Clio GT Line, it is priced at RM 118,000 (OTR).
Compared to the regular Clio, the Clio GT Line gets LED daytime running lights fitted in the lower portions of the bumper, 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 205/45 Michelin Primacy 3 tires, body-coloured side moldings with dark metal inserts, darkened side mirror housings, a roof spoiler from the Clio R.S 200, as well as a single chrome-finished exhaust tip. Exterior color options include Diamond Black, Glacier White, Malta Blue and Flame Red.
Inside, it has a “dark carbon” fabric upholstery seats, a grey dashboard with a piano black center console that houses a 7-inch MediaNav touchscreen navigation/infotainment system and the Renault Bass Reflex sound system. Other features include automatic headlights and rain-sensing windscreen wipers, keyless entry with push-start button, cruise control with speed limiter, rear parking sensors, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel.

Powering the Clio GT Line is a turbocharged 1.2 litre TCe 120 four-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of 118 hp at 4,900 rpm and 190 Nm of torque from 2,000 rpm. It is paired to a six-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to the front wheels and enables it to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 199 km/h.
