This is the first image of the first, second generation Renault Logan produced in Brazil. The French brand's compact sedan comes with fully refurbished interior and exterior, and is similar in appearance to the European Renault Logan/Symbol, which in turn is a badge engineered Dacia Logan.

The new Logan would be launched in Brazil in the first week of November with the same powertrain options.

The photo was posted by someone privy to the car's production, on Facebook. For the Brazilian market, Renault would produce the new Logan at its plant in Curitiba where it currently makes the first generation car. The Logan's chief rivals are the Toyota Etios, Hyundai HB20S and the Chevrolet Prisma.

Notably, a difference to the model sold in Europe to the Brazilian Logan is a chrome garnish on the lower bumper. The mirrors with LED turn signals indicate that this is a premium variant.

The Brazilian Logan differs from the model sold in Europe by a chrome fitting on the air intake.

The new Logan will reach the Brazilian market in the first week of November and would probably make use of three engines used in the current version. According to Noticias Automotivas, the 1.0L variant will have around 80 hp (up from 76hp) while the 1.6L 8v and 1.6L 16v versions would continue in their current specifications.
