The production model wears a new design language and is styled using LED-infused headlamps and ORVM indicators, small quarter glass panels at the front and back, a rugged sump guard, an off-road package that gives it the ability to tackle snow and fog light enclosures with a tinge of chrome.

The C-Segment crossover signals a new direction for the future of Suzuki's car design.

Suzuki has teased the car by releasing two photographs and one video clipping that don't show the complete car at any instance.

Suzuki's press release is very vague, it explains the crossover as having a "roomy interior" and "one of the largest luggage areas in its class."

The crossover styling is combined with "excellent handling and driving enjoyment" the press release further adds.

The teaser video is well edited, but the heavily detailed headlight cluster, a rising beltline, an off-road package and V-Shaped rear quarter glass are revealed.

The S-Cross is rumored to not be a replacement to the SX4. It will sit slightly above the SX4, while the proposed Swift-based XA Alpha would be positioned under it when it arrives in the coming years. The C-Segment crossover would have to use Fiat's diesel engines, while the petrol engine could include the 1.4L K Series motor developed for the Ertiga.
